Lady Nade’s say:

I play solo shows as well as stripped down sets with the amazing Bath-based Guitarist Seb Gutiez. I also work with talented Bristol Based double bass player Dan Everett and the amazing Bristol Based Drummer Mike Cooper. I’m currently working on my Debut Album with one of my favourite co-writers Allan Keen who’s also producing my soon to be released album. I sing, play the guitar and write Modern folky- soul songs! I also enjoy experimenting with pop jazz and blues.

I loved working with Harboured Sounds who bring the best of Bristol sites and music together through the art form of film. Bristol is my hometown, I love my city for all its lovely places. When I was younger my Granddad and I would walk along the harbourside discovering new sites and hot spots. Harboured sounds helped share some of the discovery I’ve had with others. It was a great and heart-warming project to get involved in. The team are warm, friendly as well as highly passionate about what they do.”  Lady Nade

You’d find it hard to find another performer today with such a hauntingly effortless whisper. She will hold you in rapture from beginning to end – stunning.’ Cleverhead Promotions

‘Youthful singer Lady Nade is known for possessing one of the most distinctive and soulful voices on the Bristol Scene’ Computer Music Magazine

‘Lady Nade’s voice has the husky resonance of a life well-lived and lessons learned, and yet she’s one of the brightest young sparks to emerge in the last year or so. Her songs sketch moments of emotional transformation, love and loss, arranged with care and effortlessly delivered in That Voice – yummy!’ – The Canteen

‘Emblematic of the Bristol music scene at its best. A distinctively individual performer’ – Julian Owen – Venue Magazine

‘I was immediately hooked by her deeply soulful, bluesy voice and the quality of her self-penned songs. She is able to bring to life the spirit of Nina Simone, Bessie Smith and Billie Holiday without trying to copy any of them.’ Grumpy Man Promotions
